All that I love, all that I see – in all its colours, in all its beauty
Somewhere
Somewhere in the Sunderbans
a little Rosefinch
rose from sleep and chirped,
asking if the other birds
had seen her favourite birder
who’s stopped coming to see her.
Thanks much Ryan. I am on a road trip and don’t get to read your lovely poems. I will make up for it after this gets over. Do post lots 🙂 You too have a lovely day. I saw Rufous Treepie today…I fell in love with the bird.
So beautiful. Sad and deep and stayed with me after I finished reading. Lovely writing 🙂
